HANK WILLIAMS JR.'s daughter Katherine Williams-Dunning, also known as Katie, was killed in a car accident Saturday near Paris, Tennessee. She was at the wheel when she crossed over the median and rolled over. She was 27.
Her husband Tyler was in the passenger seat. He was airlifted to the hospital and as of yesterday was awake and responding. The car was towing a boat, but it's not known if that was the cause. The crash is being investigated.
The couple has two children, five-year-old Beau, and two-year-old Audrey. Katie ran a clothing company called Weston Jane, which is dedicated to "moms supporting moms and women supporting women."
Her sister, singer HOLLY WILLIAMS, posted a family photo yesterday and wrote, "On Friday morning I talked the family into taking this picture and had no idea it would be our last together with my precious little sister Katie."
