Is it time to check in on the marital bliss of MIRANDA LAMBERT and her police officer husband Brendan McLoughlin? I mean, they've toughed it out for almost four months so something's going right.
She tells "Extra", quote, "We have the best of both worlds. We spend time in New York, we get to see our adorable nugget, then we get to come back to the farm and have the quiet life. I'm enjoying the balance."
Nugget is Brendan's seven-month-old son from a previous relationship, and Miranda says she's qualified to help raise the kid because she's cared for so many dogs.
Quote, "My stepson is amazing. I'm loving that whole phase, and I've raised a million dogs, so I feel like I've got that part of my womanly / motherly thing is full, so this is a whole new journey. It's great."
In other Miranda news, she debuted a brand new song called "Locomotive" at her show on Saturday at CMA Fest. She says, quote, "I chose it for CMA Fest because it's total country punk-rock. It's just fun. It really is a reflection of who I am right now."
