If someone tells you that they've never had the sudden impulse to wash themselves off after a trip through a dollar store is lyin'.
Apparently one Tennessee man took that impulse to the extreme.
Donald Eugene Dover has been identified by authorities in Newport, Tennessee, as the man witnessed shoplifting in a local Dollar General.
This wasn't your everyday theft, though. According to police, Dover didn't snatch items and run out the door. Instead, they allege, he took a mop and bucket filled with bleach and water and began to wipe himself down.
Once spotted, Dover attempted to make off with his unorthodox bubble bath materials in tow, but perhaps the smell of bleach slowed him down, as police were able to apprehend him upon their arrival.
Dover is charged with theft, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.
