Country Stars are stepping up BIG TIME to help the folks in Texas!
Chris Young has donated 100,000 to a GoFundMe page. LUKE COMBS donated $10,000 to Samaritans Purse to help with the recovery and rebuilding
George Strait has hinted about a huge effort from country music's biggest stars to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.
He says on Facebook, "We are working on putting together relief efforts along with the whole country music community. Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected by the storm.
My family was personally affected along with many friends in Houston and Rockport and surrounding areas. God bless us all."
It's unclear exactly what will unfold, but you know that if King George is involved it will be big. Maybe a big concert?
So many artists are from Texas or live in the Lone Star State, including Randy Travis, Miranda Lambert, Willie Nelson, Eli Young Band, Granger Smith, Joe Nichols, Clint Black and GEORGE.
Coming together to help those in need . . . it's just what country folk do the best.
Here's that post from Luke Combs . . .
