Several weeks ago, The Bobby Bones Show scammed a scammer by way of Amy.
She received an email from Kailyn Lowry's manager asking her to be a podcast guest and they were willing to pay some money. After following their steps, the show was able to scam the scammer while they were on a Zoom call with Amy. It seems she's the target of another podcast guest scam, this time with even more details than the last. The scammer told Amy he was Sara Evans' manager Craig Dunn and they wanted to book her on an episode of Evan's podcast. They would do it over Zoom and they were willing to pay her $2,000 for the appearance.
Ironically this scammer doesn't know the show is friends with Evans and Bobby has actually been on Evans' podcast. He wasn't paid for his appearance on the podcast, just as no one usually is. So despite the scammer having more details this time, the show is aware it's definitely a scam. However, they are still moving through the steps to setup a Zoom interview and Bobby is going to try to get Evans in studio to personally talk back to the scammer.
