A woman was rappelling down the Sugarloaf Mountain in St, George, Utah with another person. All was going well until her hair got tangled up in her gear.
Once she realized she got herself totally stuck, she started to panic. The man she was with called out for help, because he needed all the help he could get to rescue her. It just so happened the Dixie State University college football team was nearby for a fall training. The team collectively jumped into action to start helping.
In a viral video of the rescue, the athletes worked for 45 minutes to save the young woman while putting their own lives at risk. With a lot of rope, strategizing, and determination, they were able to help her and now the team is being hailed as heroes.
