Shania Twain invited two concertgoers to join her on stage at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
The iconic country artist noticed the fans, both Army veterans, holding up a homemade sign that read: “We named our baby Shania.” The baby’s mother said into the microphone, “we named our daughter Shania after you (because) we love you so much. …I used to listen to Shania Twain when I was about two years old. My grandpa is in the crowd…so, if it wasn’t for grandpa, I wouldn’t know wha Shania Twain was.”
“I love this story,” Twain, 59, beamed as she shared that moment with the two fans on Tuesday night (July 29). She shared that moment on TikTok and Instagram on Wednesday afternoon (July 30), and added in her caption, “I just had to get them up on stage with me and boy am I glad I did! Their energy was everything!!”
Twain is set to take the stage again at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville on Wednesday evening. Her next performances are set for Friday (August 1) and Saturday (August 2) at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Watch Twain react to fans naming their baby Shania here:
