Join the Asheville Museum of Science for a scientific night of fun and fundraising at the annual event, Under the Stars! The evening includes dinner, drinks, a silent and live auction, star gazing, a visit inside the Museum’s portable planetarium and dancing with a special musical performance by Sirius B.
“As a non-profit we rely on the generosity of our community to continue to provide world-class STEAM education to our area and grow a regional Science Center, said Amanda Bryant AMOS Executive Director. “The funds raised help the Museum bring the best of science education to our area through exhibits, award-winning educational programs for students and families, and unique events held throughout the year.”
All funds will go directly to providing science education in western North Carolina through exhibits, field trips, and community outreach. AMOS served more than 60,000 students and families last year through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) programing. Whether through exhibits, field trips, mobile learning, STEAM lab, and summer camps AMOS is serving its mission to help advance science literacy, foster lifelong learning in the community, and develop a future workforce.
Admission to this signature event is $40 per person or $60 for VIP tickets, which includes a VIP reception, auction preview, and AMOS swag.
Under the Stars will take place at theHighland Brewing Event Center, 12 Old Charlotte Highway, Asheville, on Thursday, September 26th from 6pm-10pm. Tickets are available online at ashevillescience.org/event/stars.
