Brad Paisley To Star In New Amazon Comedy Series 'Fish Out Of Water'

Brad Paisley is officially set to star in and exec produce a new TV comedy series, Fish Out of Water, which will run on Amazon's streaming platform.

The show is described as a "Larry Sanders take on celebrity vanity projects." Paisley will be working with comedic actor and writer, Will Arnett, along with A.D. Miles, Peter Principato, Marc Forman and more.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the new series will give a behind-the-scenes look at Paisley's struggle to keep a simple little fishing show from turning into his own personal Frye Festival.

Paisley, although known for his successful country music career, has taken a few shots at acting over the years. Most notably seen through his hilarious Nationwide Insurance commercials with Peyton Manning and also while co-hosting the CMA Awards alongside Carrie Underwood. Further, he's got to experience scripted television making a guest appearance on According to Jim, a show that his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley starred in.

No word yet in when the new show will start filming or air but stay tuned for more details to come.

Paisley and his wife have also been staying busy as they work to open up free grocery store in Nashville, The Store. Recently they were given a $1.5 million grant to help boost their efforts to help lower-income families in Tennessee.

The Store broke ground in April 2019 and is currently under construction, expected to open early 2020.
