Zipping for Autism is an annual autism fundraiser. Individuals and teams from businesses, organizations, or just friends raise money—and zip!—to support programs benefiting autistic children and adults.
All donations raised by participants—100 percent!—go to autism programs in Western North Carolina. In 2019 those programs are offered by Lakey Gap Autism Programs and FIRST. To zip, teams of up to 10 people raise $800 (just $80 per person for a team of 10). People who register as individuals, rather than as part of a team, raise just $100 to zip.
The 8th annual event will take place at the Adventure Center of Asheville on Sunday, June 2. Please join us in fundraising and then for Zipping for Autism 2019—a great, fun day celebrating autistic people and the autism community!
