A campaign visit to Asheville by Senator Kamala Harris has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21, after her original trip last week had to be canceled after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
The vice-presidential candidate was originally scheduled to visit western North Carolina on Thursday, Oct. 15 before traveling to Charlotte. The trip had to be called off at the last minute after a non-staff flight crew member and Liz Allen, communications director to Senator Harris, both tested positive.
