Miranda Lambert's handsome husband Brendan McLouglin is taking a short break from his duties with the New York Police Department.
According to People, the 28-year-old cop is on an "authorized leave of absence." Due to confidentiality, no other details are available, however, the police department says that an officer can take leave for a variety of reasons.
Brendan has obviously served the force well. People points out that he has been recognized numerous times on the Midtown South Precinct social pages for his admirable work with the department, including apprehending a perpetrator in a bank robbery.
Miranda's Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour does kick off in September, but no mention has been made of Brendan hitting the road with his wife.
