Famed punk band NOFX went too far this past Sunday when they played a show in Las Vegas, joking that at least the people killed at the Route 91 Harvest Festival were country fans.
The band was playing at the Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival. As they finished a song, the lead singer said, "We played a song about Muslims and we didn't get shot. Hooray." Another band member followed with, "I guess you only get shot in Vegas if you are in a country band. That [the massacre] sucked, but at least they were country fans and not punk rock fans."
58 people were killed and nearly 500 were injured in the deadliest mass shooting in American history.
