ERIC CHURCH isn't the only country star furious with ticket scalpers. KIP MOORE, who is headlining this fall's CMT on Tour, TRIED to keep prices low only to have scalpers ruin his plan. He posted a rant on Facebook.
He wrote, quote, "I know what it's like to live on a budget and wish you had funds to go to a show but you can't. It's the reason I wanted to make this tour affordable for everyone. We scaled back production across the board to make low ticket prices.
"Above all, the thing that pisses me off the most is scalpers. I've recently been told that it looks as if some people who bought the pre-sale tickets are turning around and putting them up on different sites for much steeper prices."
Kip has been trying to find ways to stop it from happening, but he's had no luck. He also has a message for the brokers: Quote, "To those of you scalping. I understand doing whatever you can to make a dollar. But there are ethical ways of doing that.
"Twist it however you want to make it to seem like what you're doing is ok, but it's not. I want to always keep prices low, so don't be a [D-word]."
