BRIAN KELLEY of FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE told a LIE during an interview with the "Chicago Tribune". Well, I don't know for sure that he did, but if I was in Vegas . . . I'd put the entire $155 I brought with me on it.

He was asked if he's heard of MADDIE & TAE'S anti-"bro country" anthem "Girl in a Country Song" . . . which is currently sitting at #16 on the Hot Country Songs chart . . . and he answered, quote, "I'm not really familiar with that."

Yeah, the interviewer didn't buy that either . . . so they asked this follow-up question: Quote, "They sing the song from the point of view of the girl in the cut-off jeans, who never gets to talk? You've never heard that song?"

For some reason, that made Brian decide to defend the genre. He said, quote, "All I'm gonna say about that is, I don't know one girl who doesn't want to be a girl in a country song. That's all I'm gonna say to you. That's it."
