One of the guys on the upcoming season of "The Bachelorette" died from injuries he got in a paragliding accident over the weekend.
His name was Eric Hill and he was 32 . . . and he'd already finished shooting his scenes on "The Bachelorette", so the paragliding trip was NOT part of the show.
It's unclear how far he got in the competition, but according to reports, he was eliminated at some point . . . so his death won't impact the outcome. But ABC is expected to address it on the show at some point.
Host CHRIS HARRISON released this statement: Quote, "We're all extremely saddened by this news. We enjoyed our time with Eric on the show. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends . . . he'll be missed."
The next season of "The Bachelorette" premieres on May 19th.
