ALICIA SILVERSTONE has a new parenting book, and it's as insane as you'd expect it to be. Even the title is ridiculous . . . "The Kind Mama: A Simple Guide to Supercharged Fertility, a Radiant Pregnancy, a Sweeter Birth, and a Healthier, More Beautiful Beginning".

Here are some of her, um . . . "tips":

1. Meat, dairy and processed foods fill your uterus with "toxic sludge". She writes, quote, "You wouldn't want to bring your baby into a junk-filled house with a leaky roof and backed-up plumbing, right?" Her solution? Eat plants.

2. Which apparently cures EVERYTHING, by the way. Alicia says that a plant-based diet can, quote, "supercharge fertility; reduce your likelihood of miscarriage . . .

"Infuse breast milk with all kinds of nutrient goodness that make your kids smart and healthy; and help stave off diseases like cancer, heart disease, diabetes." She also claims it can prevent postpartum depression.

3. Stop using tampons. Alicia says, quote, "Your chichi is the most absorbent part of your body. Unfortunately, feminine-care manufacturers aren't required to tell you what's in their products.

"Which means that no one's talking about the potential pesticide residues from non-organic cotton and the 'fragrances' containing hormone-upsetting, fertility-knocking phthalates that are snuggling up to your hoo-ha."

4. You also need to stop using diapers. Apparently, the multimillion-dollar diaper industry is, quote, "fueled by corporate-backed pseudoscience." Also, why let babies sit in their own waste?

Instead, you have to learn the "cues" that your child needs to go, like facial expressions, and get them to the toilet. Or OUTSIDE.

She says babies are, quote, "much more content leaving their business in the grass than having to sleep and eat accompanied by their own pee and poo."

Alicia is also goes off on vaccines . . . parents who don't sleep with their kids in a "family bed" and more.
