Just this week we found out that Trace Adkins and his wife of over 15 years are planning to divorce.  That is truly a sad state of affairs and I am sorry to hear that.  I am sure some of the stress that led to that outcome came from being in the spot light, especially as of late during Trace's battle with alcohol.

And Blake Shelton's wife, Miranda Lambert told People Magazine that it certainly can be tough. The 30-year-old country super star said, "It’s not easy when everyone is trying to tear you down, but you make a commitment and you stick to it. In other parts of the entertainment world, it sometimes seems like marriage is so disposable."

Miranda explained that she uses some of her peers in country music as examples to live up to, "Country has some enduring marriages – Johnny [Cash] and June [Carter Cash], George [Jones] and Nancy, Faith [Hill] and Tim [McGraw]. I’m thankful we have those role models. I feel like our peers are rooting for us. They're holding us up."

With the new release of her album, Platinum, the rumors about her and Blake's divorce have started to fly again, "There were rumors that it was about our marriage, that it had become boring and predictable. How do people even think that up?" Miranda questioned.
