From the “Middle of Nowhere” come the Harris brothers Justin and Ryan and their band MCKENZIES MILL.  The two boys from North Carolina have been playing music their entire lives together and are now delivering high energy southern fired rock and roll country to their growing fan base.

They grew up in the country south of Raleigh, North Carolina hunting rabbits with their dad, fishing the local lakes and streams and loving the country ladies (of course).  After graduating high school they moved onto college together where they honed their musical skills while obtaining degrees in very different careers from a musical one.  But after obtaining that piece of paper that said they were educated they tossed those degrees into the back of their Chevy Suburban and hit the road to Nashville to pursue their dreams.

Now Justin and Ryan have made Music City their home and are gaining traction with their new single “Middle of Nowhere” which tells the story of growing up in a cornfield town with a girl you fall wildly in love with and what comes next, a story that many small towns know very well.

Even with several ballads in the set lists the boys deliver a high energy show that will get you up on your feet and ready to kick it country all night long at your favorite Honky Tonk.  Justin says they are somewhere between Zac Brown Band and Cadillac Three with influences that including Willie Nelson, who they even wrote a song about entitled “Willie”.
