I hope the title made you look!  I have a friend who is battling breast cancer.  Getting ready for the surgery, she took care of all the work stuff she could, took care of family issues, met with doctors, and she did all that with a great attitude.  I mean a really great attitude, smiling and happy, and very optimistic.  This dear lady has now had her surgery, I won't go into details but it went very well.  Now she faces the post surgery regiment...and as anyone who has battled cancer or been through it with a family member knows..it can be very tough.  My friend still has the best attitude, not bitter or blue.  In a post about her upcoming ordeal, she says....

And it's going to be worth it.....

And I'm going to beat this cancer.....

And I'm going to learn a lot about what is important in life.....

And I'm going to grow as a person....

And my faith will be stronger....

And my love and life will be more like Jesus.

As long as I have know this lady she has had the most positive attitude, happy with her life, her family, her work, and her church.  I only hope and pray that when I face adversity I can be "more like Jesus".

All your love and prayers will be appreciated, just pray for John's friend, God knows her.

One more thing from my friend, ladies do self exams, get mammograms, and encourage others.
