Hannah Kepple, of Asheville, plays Moon on "Cobra Kai," the No. 1 series in the United States on Netflix. The action comedy-drama is based on the classic "Karate Kid" film series from the 1980s.
Kepple described her character as a hippie who's against all the fighting, which makes Moon a fun role.
"I didn't expect it to blow up so quickly. But it's really cool coming from a small town and being able to represent, for sure," Kepple said.
You may watch the first two seasons of "Cobra Kai" on Netflix now. The show's third season was shot before the COVID-19 pandemic and will be available next year.
