Friends of Haywood County Library Annual Book Sale

The annual Friends of the Haywood County Library book sale is coming! It will be held Thursday July 25 through Saturday July 27th at the Haywood County Library,678 S. Haywood St, Waynesville, NC. It is free to the public. Hours are Thursday July 25 from 9 AM-7 PM, Friday July 26 from 9 AM-6PM, Saturday July 27 from 9 AM-3PM.

The book sale features thousands of donated books starting at $.50. The books come primarily from donations from the public and is fresh stock each year. All books are organized by category and individually priced. Included in the sale are Classic and Graphic Novels, Military, Business, Travel, Cookbooks, Gardening, Crafts, Children's, Large Print, etc. Vinyl records, DVD's, CD's, puzzles and games are also available.

Dealers are welcome and will have a separate work area and checkout. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted. Please bring sturdy bags and boxes. Please no large strollers and no pets with exception of marked service dogs. Sale will be held in the downstairs of the Waynesville branch of the library. There is plenty of parking available across the street.

Friends of the Library is a non-profit group whose mission is to support the programs, people, and facilities of the Haywood County Library in all its locations. Money from this book sale funds various programs for all ages, including summer reading programs, lecture and discussion series, new equipment, new books and other media, movies, concerts, plays, craft workshops, etc.
