An escaped prisoner from Arkansas is in custody in Henderson County.
U.S. Marshals announced yesterday that they apprehended Robert Eugene Woodward as he tried to flee the Quality Inn hotel in Flat Rock.
Authorities said he was hiding out there under an assumed name, three months after breaking out of a prison 100 miles southeast of Little Rock in June.
He was booked into Henderson County jail and is awaiting extradition.
